UXi Campus is in Stellenbosch, Western Cape: on the “100 Most Loved Destinations Around the World” list for 2023. One of the greatest student towns worldwide - a once-in-a-lifetime student lifestyle from coffee shops and restaurants, to pop up art galleries, to wine farms and mountain ranges.

Cape Town: a short drive away is a buzzing & modern city surrounded by some of the world’s greatest historical landmarks and most extraordinary views. Voted as one of the World's Top 10 Cities '22.

The ideal player that would fit into our program is an experienced, passionate, hard-working Male or Female, from HS Senior – 23 yrs old.

The volume of player that are enrolled and the individuality of the program allows experienced players of all skill levels to join. We are flexible on age and experience & skills (it is subjective, after all), so if unsure, please ask!

Cost: Based on one month: $2400. Player arranges airfare (dependent on time - $1300-$2300). Included: all daily training, academy events, excursions and socials, lunch and dinner, accommodation, transportation/shuttles (to Club commitments etc). Breakfast and weekend are on the players.

Our Program runs year-round. The optimal period would be during the local season (May to Aug). During the 'off-season' our players are still hard at work. You do not have the option to play for the local clubs, of course.

For US College players, an ideal time is during the US summer, for 30 or more days. Study abroad and stay longer? Stellenbosch University partners with many US Universities. Or take a Gap Year and enroll for the year to include our study options.

Any player can join and pay out of their pocket, or:
USA Rugby Organizations, Rugby Alum Groups, or Rugby Academy/Programs, could take this on and identify a worthy Male and/or Female athlete, and reward them with sponsorship.
Or the reverse: UXi could identify worthy players to send to a USA Academy/Program. These players could potentially be taken on & be nurtured to play long-term in the US, even for the National team.

What our alumni experienced?

UXi host many international players every year: our current potential intake for May-Aug 2024 is approximately 25. These players mostly come from France, UK and the rest of Europe. We currently have USA players from San Diego and Seattle signed up.
