Our 2023/24 Fall Session closed with a great MedStar Tournament on the 19th Nov. Read about the tournament on the Goff Rugby Report. We take a short break for the Holiday season and start up again mid-January. More info to follow.
Programs available: COED Tag (PreK-4th Grade) and Boys & Girls Tackle (5th - 12th Grade). Players can join at any time during the year and benefit from our program: rugby is a year-round sport at our club. Although the main Session in Virginia is in the Spring (January to May), we offer competitive Sessions in the Fall and Summer. Read more at our Schedules Page.
As usual, we continue our offer to come out to give rugby a try, no charge, no commitment. We are always looking for players, all ages, boys & girls, as well as parent help and coaches. See you on the field. Please feel free to send an email for more info.
Rugby Year Time-Line at Great Falls/McLean
The rugby year runs from 1 Sept to 31 August the following year. We play year-round and sessions are divided up as follows:
Why play rugby?
Is rugby for you? YES OF COURSE!
No matter body size, shape, quirks or personality, there is a place for your child on the rugby field. If you want it, you'll achieve it.
Never played before? No problem, whether a younger non-contact player or an older tackle player; the kids are eased into the basics of rugby and safety is key. We ALWAYS have several brand new players and these kids are quickly integrated into the team and are part of the 'gang'.
